We were invited by Tamrock Heavy Industry to visit their facilities for Heavy Equipment manufacturing in Finland,especially their central manufacturing in Tampere, a nice city in the hearth of Finland.

From Helsinki the Capital City of Finland we took a bus to go Tampere to visit Tamrock Heavy Industry( the Sandvik Group of Sweden acquired Tamrock) and some others factories. We stayed at Sokos Hotel Ilves Tampere is the third largest city in Finland, the weather were very nice and cold


We were invited to have diner at Hakkarin Kartano Restaurant at Kuokkalantie, 37550 Moisio, this is an old house converted to become a restaurant with a good panoramic.

We visited Kievari Rantapirtti by the lake Salosvesi in Central Finland, we sailed crossed the lakes the nickname of Finland is Country of thousand lake, the people must have a license for fishing at the lake, and they said the community who will check to make sure the fishermen obey the rule and regulation not the police.

Again we had diner at a restaurant near the lake and we must follow the ritual first. We had to strip our clothes then jump to the cold lake about 5 degrees Celsius, after that we must enter Sauna’s room, we must jump back to the lake to close our pore.

The serve us a special menus reindeer and salmon steaks, very yummy because the reindeer meat are fresh. For drink as usual I drink hot chocolate and chocolate chip cookies for dessert, this is my favorites.
