Stadthuys is the massive pink town hall in the center of Malacca, built between 1641-1660 with it Dutch colonial architecture, Today the Stadhuys is used for the Government of Malacca’s office.

Other interesting place are Christ Church, St Paul Church, Church of St Peter, Porta de Santiago was the main gate of the Portuguese fortress of A’Famosa, Portuguese Square, Cheng Hoon Teng Temple.


Masjid Tengkera(Tengkera Mosque) about 160 years old, two kilometre along the road towards Port Dickson, with its typical Sumatran design.

At the Hotel near the beach of Malacca I found they served traditional food which you will never get it in Jakarta, the name of the food is tempoyak -fermented durian it is smelly for the people who not use to eat it, cencalok -permented rice shrimps, this kind of food only popular in Malay ethnic either in Indonesia or Malaysia.
