Pondok Indah is residential area in South Jakarta, Pondok Indah has Twin Shopping Malls, Pondok Indah Mall One and Pondok Indah Mall Two.

Pondok Indah Mall One is the old Mall opened around 1991 and the new one is Pondok Indah Mall Two opened around 2007, both Malls connected by Wall through shopping bridges across the Metro Pondok Indah Road.

Pondok Indah Mall One and Pondok Indah Mall Two will be crowded during the weekend and holidays, where the youngsters hanging around.


Pondok Indah will be connected with Trans Jakarta bus, via busway which is still under construction. Forty years ago Pondok Indah was Rubber plantations and fruits plantations, then it was modified to residential area, connected the suburbs at South Jakarta to the City. Now Metro Pondok Indah become one of the main road at South Jakarta.

South Jakarta a little bit cooler than other area, some International Schools located in South Jakarta, Jakarta International School, Australian International School, New Zealand International School, Singapore International School and many others.

The pictures below were taken during the working day at Metro Pondok Indah Road, not always congested as the people think. Jakarta is not bad as some people think, it depends on the way you look it, depends on the time, depends on the locations.
