Bandung is a capital city of West Java Province, Republic of Indonesia. Bandung has a nickname Paris van Java or Flower City. Bandung also favorites with her Beautiful girls called Mojang Priangan.


The weather in Bandung is a little bit cooler than other big cities in Indonesia, because Bandung lied on mountains range.

You may not compare Bandung to Mount Titlis in Switzerland because there is no snow in Bandung.

Bandung could be reached within two hours from Jakarta by car, because Bandung is connecting by toll road to Jakarta. When you traveling from Central Jakarta along the Jagorawi Toll Road you will see Beautiful Indonesia in Miniature Park at your left side.


The scenery along the road is beautiful, you will see tea plantation and beautiful suspension bridge. During the weekend or holidays Bandung more crowded because Bandung is a local tourist destination.

Bandung is famous with a lot of varieties of foods. Everybody is going to Bandung looking for Mie kocok (noddle soup),batagor,cakes, and many more other kind of foods. You will find a lot of cafes in Bandung and also a lot of factory outlet where you can buy export quality garments with cheap prices.

In Lembang near Bandung there is a Boscha observatory, strawberry plantations, milk central processing unit. You may visit Strawberry Plantation at Lembang, or other plantation at Ciwidey at South of Bandung, you may harvest the fruits and take it home but you must pay based on the weight.
