The Garuda Wisnu Kencana Cultural Park Complex situated on limestone hill at Bukit Ungaran, Nusa Dua Cave Badung, Bali. The statue about 146 meters high from land or approximately 263 meters above sea level.

You could imagine how big and tall that statue, compared to the people standing close by, so this is a difficult process to carve it, and to erect it to the place it should be.

How to get The Garuda Wisnu Kencana Cultural Park?

From Kuta you go to Nusa Dua and take the right turn to Uluwatu, you should follow that road ascend up to the hill. The travel time from Kuta to the Garuda Wisnu Kencana is approximately 30 menits by car.

The statue of Garuda Wisnu Kencana made from Copper and iron steel, with the weight approx 4,000 tons, the height 75 meters and the width 60 meters.

From the hill you could see Kuta, Sanur, Nusa Dua and Tanah Lot. When the statue is completed and erected in this place, you could see it from the plane on her landing approach to the airport. So the Garuda Wisnu Kencana will become a landmark of Bali,Indonesia.
